San Diego 14. - 18. 4. 2016

I stopped running a few months before I got pregnant and I was eager to go back to it after Adam was born. For a Christmas present I got entry into trail half marathon in San Diego area. We left on Thursday quite early and we stayed in hotel on Ocean Beach. During our stay on top of the race we visited aquarium, the old town, La Jolla cave and spent some time on a beach. We drove back on Monday morning.

S behanim jsem prestala par mesicu pred tim co jsem otehotnela a po porodu jsem se tesila az se k behani zase vratim. Na vanoce jsem dostala zapsani na pul maraton v oblasti San Diega. Odjeli jsme ve ctvrtek brzo rano a byli jsme ubytovani v hotelu na Ocean beach. Behem naseho pobytu krome zavodu jsme navstivili aquarium, stare mesto, oblast La Jolla a stravili jsme cas na plazi. Zpet jsme jeli v pondeli rano.

Tahoe Donner - Sugar Bowl 26-27. 3. 2016

I haven't been downhill skiing for ages!  Eric is not big fan of skiing after he hurt his back, so he offered to look after Adam while I ski for a day. I fed Adam just before they dropped me off, then at lunch and then again at 3 pm. At this point my legs were sooo tired that I was done. On Sunday we went to Tahoe Donner to do some cross country skiing. We rented a sled for Adam and took off. Since it was Easter there was egg hunt going on the trails. It was fun weekend.

Ja jsem nebyla na sjezdovkach uz roky! Eric lyze tolik nemusi pote co si poranil zada a tak mi nabidnul, ze pohlida cely den Adamka a ja muzu lyzovat. Nakrmila jsem maleho tesne predtim nez me vysadili u vleku, pak na obed a znovu ve 3 odpoledne. Tim jsem lyzovani ukonicila, protoze me uz hodne boleli nohy. V nedeli jsem jeli do Tahoe Donner na bezky. Pujcili jsme si specialni sane pro Adama a vyrazili jsme. Jelikoz byly velikonoce na trati bylo hledani vajice. Byl to super vikend.

Dewey point - Yosemite 12.3. 2016

This is traditional winter hike in Yosemite. This year we were hoping to take Adam there. We were very lucky for the weather, on Friday and Sunday was raining/snowing, but Saturday was very nice.  I carried Adam, Eric carried backpack with our stuff. Adam slept most of the time to the Dewey point where I fed him and most of the way back.

Toto je tradicni zimni vyslap v Yosemitech. Tento rok jsme doufali, ze tam budeme moci vzit Adamka. Meli jsme velke stesti na pocasi. V patek a nedeli prselo/snezilo, ale v sobotu bylo velice pekne. Ja jsem nesla Adamka, Eric mel batoh se vsemi nasimi vecmi. Adam spal temer celou cestu na Dewey point, kde jsem ho nakrmila a vetsinu cesty zpatky.

Lin's visit 21.1. - 8.2. 2016

Eric's mom came for two weeks to visit us and see her grandchild Adam for the first time. Eric took a week off then we did a few trips. We went to Napa, San Francisco, Yosemite and Santa Cruz.

Ericova maminka prijela na dva tydny nas navstivit a poprve se podivat na sve vnouce Adamka. Eric si vzal tyden dovolene a vyrazili jsme na par vyletu. Jeli jsme do Napy, San Francisca, Yosemit a Santa Cruz.

Lake Tahoe 16. - 18. 1. 2016

It has become a tradition to go to Lake Tahoe with friends for MLK weekend. Eric and I hoped to keep up with this tradition even with Adam. We were wondering if friends will still come with us even if we might have screaming baby with us. :) In the end nice mixture of friends came to the cabin, some with kids, some without. The snow situation was much better than last two years, but the weather wasn't great for 10 weeks old baby. So we did only short hikes each day.

Uz je to tradici jet s kamarady na prodlouzeny vikend MLK na hory k jezeru Tahoe. Eric a ja jsme doufali, ze udrzime tuto tradici i s Adamkem. Zajimalo nas, jestli s nami kamaradi pojedou i kdyz mozna budeme mit placici miminko :) Nakonec dobra smes kamaradu prijela, nekteri s detmi, nekteri bez. Snehu bylo vice nez predesle dva roky, ale pocasi nebylo idelani pro 10ti tydenni miminko. Tak jsme kazdy den sli jen na kratke vychazky.

Santa Cruz, Ethiopian restaurant, San Jose 1. - 3. 1. 2016

My mom came to help us when Adam was born. Even though 3 months seemed long time in October, now in January it felt like it flied by. We tried to visit last few places that my mom would enjoy. Went to Santa Cruz, San Jose downtown and to gardens by Winchester mystery house. We also went out for dinner in Ethiopian restaurant.

Moje maminka nam prijela pomoci, kdyz se Adam narodil. I kdyz se 3 mesice v rijnu zdaly jako dlouha doba, tak ted v lednu jsme meli pocit, ze to strasne rychle uteklo. Pokusili jsme se navstivit par mist, kde by se jeste mamce libilo. Zajeli jsme do Santa Cruz, centra San Jose a do zahrady u domu Winchester. Zasli jsme si take na veceri do Etiopske restaurace.

Colorado 22. - 29. 12. 2015

It has become a tradition to go for Christmas to Colorado. Part of Eric's family fly/drive there for the Christmas celebration. This year we also brought a new member of the family - our little Adam. Most of the time we spent in Evergreen, but we also managed to take a trip to Garden of the Gods and Boulder.

Uz je to tradici, ze na vanoce jezdime do Colorada. Cast Ericovi rodiny se sem sjizdi na vanoce. Tento rok jsme take privezly noveho clena rodiny, naseho maleho Adamka. Vetsinu casu jsme stravili v Evergreenu, ale stihli jsme se take podivat do Zahrady bohu a do Boulderu.
