Martinova narozeninova vecere - Martin's birthday dinner 6.5.2008

May 8th Martin celebrated 30th birthday and since he appriciate more dumplings than cake I made good czech dinner for him as my present.

Rafting 3. - 4. 5. 08

Rafting again! This was for me the third year in row when I went rafting. This time to Tuolumne river near Yosemite NP. The great thing about this year was that on the river wasn't anybody than 21 of us!
Although the rafting was on Sunday, my weekend started on Saturday when six of us decided to leave the city earlier and we did two short hikes in Yosemite NP, then the most of the rest of the group came in the evening and we enjoyed some time around fire.

Opet rafting! Toto byl uz treti rok v rade kdy jsem jela na rafting. Tento rok to bylo na rece Tuolumne pobliz Yosemitskeho NP. Skvele tento rok bylo, ze krome nasi skupiny o 21 lidech na rece nikdo jiny nebyl!
I kdyz rafting byl v nedeli, muj vikend zacal uz v sobotu, kdy se sest z nas rozhodlo vyrazit drive a zvladli jsme udelat dva kratke vylety v Yosemitech, pak vetsina nasi skupiny dorazila na vecer a posedeli jsme jeste u taboraku.

Santa Cruz 27.4.08

On Sunday I didn't have big plan - just go bike riding with Petra and then for swim, but it ended up little bit differently.... In the afternoon we went to Santa Cruz to play voleyball - we had such a great time that we decided finish our day in Greek restaurant and then with ice cream..... (the photos are Petra's)

V nedeli jsem nemela moc velke plany - jen projizdka na kole s Petrou a pak plavani, ale nakonec vse zkoncilo jinak.... Odpoledne jsme jeli do Santa Cruz hrat volejbal a nakonec jsme docela super den zakoncili v recke restauraci a pozdeji jeste zmrzlinou..... (fotky jsou Petrine)

Kirkwood - winter/zima 07/08

This winter I bought season pass for Kirkwood so I spent quite a lot of weekends skiing there. It was quite good season!

Birthday - Narozeniny (13.4.2008)

This year I celebrated my birthday with my friends in Vasona park. It was hot spring day so great weather for BBQ and some games!

So firstly there was a soccer ball on the tree.... then the guys tried to get it down with a football ball until it got stuck there too.....

Nejdrive byl balon na fotbal na strome.... pak se kluci snazili jej sundat balonem na americky fotbal az i ten tam zustal....

Bon Jovi (2.4.08)

This was the best concert so far! (Not that I would actually have seen too many)Firstly we saw Daughtry, which wasn't bad either and then Bon Jovi had a great 2 hours show! We (Petra and I) sat quite in back, but still the atmosphere was great. The photos are not very good, and the short videos are not great too - especially because I couldn't stop moving....

Toto byl zatim ten nejlepsi koncert na kterem jsem byla! (Ne ze bych byla zase ale na mnoha)Nejdrive jsme videli Daughtry, ktery take nebyl vubec spatny a pak nastoupil Bon Jovi s jeho 2hodinovym vystoupenim! Sedeli jsme (Petra a ja) sice docela vzadu, ale it tak atmosfera byla uzasna. Fotky nejsou nic moc a kratke videa asi take ne - zvlaste protoze jsem nedokazala se prestat hybat do rytmu hudby!

Eagle Lake (22.- 23. 3. 08)

This was my first backpack in the snow! Petra, Nobu, Ryan, Martin and I left Bay area on Friday evening for South Lake Tahoe where we slept in motel to be close to the begining of our backpacking trip. The plan was to go about 12 miles in total and see a few lakes, but we found out that in snowshoes and without marked trail it is not very easy to stay with our plan. After we clibed half an mile for one hour we decided to stay by Eagle lake and have relaxing weekend!

Tak tento vylet bylo moje prvni stanovani na snehu! Petra, Nobu, Ryan, Martin a ja jsme vyrazili v patek vecer do South Lake Tahoe, kde jsme prenocovali v motelu abychom byli blizko mista odkud jsme vyrazeli. Plan cesty bylo ujit asi 12 mil kolem nekolika jezer, ale jak jsme zjistili tak na sneznicich a bez poradne znacene cesty nebylo jednoduche nas plan naplnit. Pote co jsme se splhali asi do pul miloveho kopce hodinu jsme se rozhodli zustat u Eagle lake a mit pohodovy vikend.
